For the past two-plus years, I have spent my time brainstorming, writing, revising, and otherwise working on various projects. Children's picture books, Christian devotions, and my current project, a Christian fairytale, have kept me hopping.
Now that I have submitted the manuscript for my fairytale project, I am in waiting mode. It feels like a weird space to be in after all the bustling of personal, familial, and writing projects and events of recent. It's challenging to engage in new writing projects when my mind and heart are still a-swoon over the fairytale. Never mind simply getting back to daily life!
A few things are on my list of tasks. I have scheduled my next few book signing events, signed up for an author's conference, and finally started mapping out a social media content calendar. While I am pretty diligent about creating and posting content to my various social media platforms, I am mostly flying by the seat of my pants! A lot of trial and error has been happening, and I know I need to step up my game.
My goal is to begin creating and posting content according to my new social media content calendar... this week! I can hardly wait to get this streamlined, as currently I am working on this each morning, coming up with the content on the spot and then posting. I am ready to put out more intentional and well-thought-out content. Writing and publishing this blog post will help me keep myself accountable!
I would love to hear from other writers your tips on keeping yourself organized and on task.
